Hi friends!! Today, I am so excited to share with you a new outdoor space that I have been working on just in time for May! The weather has been a dream the last couple of weeks here in Nashville, so we have been enjoying our new outdoor eating area every chance we get. Today, I am sharing a small peek into this space, but a full reveal of both sides of our covered porch is coming soon! I wanted to make this eating area a pretty and practical space. We LOVE entertaining for friends and family so it was so important to me to make this a welcoming space. I decided to take a little trip to HomeGoods to pick up some accessories for this space and thought it would be fun to take you along with me!!
This is one stop shopping at itâs best! My goal was to find some accessories for this space along with some outdoor dishes for entertaining. We absolutely love entertaining so having all the appropriate supplies was super important. The first goal was to find a table centerpiece. I lucked up and found two amazing concrete planters with beautiful succulents surrounding a faux snake plant. Since my area is covered, I knew they would be perfect. Remember, tâs ok to mix faux plants in your outdoor space as long as the space is covered to protect them.
Another faux accessory that I had to have was this beautiful succulent box display that hangs from the wall. I was simple yet gorgeous and exactly what the wall behind my table needed.
Besides my faux succulents, I also found some grey and white striped pillows that really went well with my outdoor rug. I love a classic stripe, and the colors in these pillows were perfect. I picked up a few packs of these for a great price!
Next on the shopping list was outdoor dishes. I lucked up and found some simple grey plates and bowls along with some white napkins for a place setting. I also picked up some clear plastic cups and a pitcher. It was all super simple but perfect for what I was wanting. I honestly couldnât wait to get home to put everything together!!
Here is my space all pulled together! I only started with my rug and outdoor table and chairs and the rest came from my shopping trip to HomeGoods. My favorite part is for sure the concrete planters. I also really love how the grey and white striped pillows looked with all of my decor.
I also love how the place settings turned out. I donât believe an outdoor place setting has to be anything fancy. The simple look went great in this space. I also added a tray that I picked up on my shopping trip the the center on my table for drinks.
So there is a little peek into this space. I am so in love with how this space turned out! We have honestly been spending almost all of our free time out here. There is just something about eating and spending time outside that is good for the soul. Below, I am linking some similar products and a few of my favorite outdoor pieces. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek! Look for more very soon! Have a blessed day!!
