Hello friends!! I am so excited about todayâs post because I am finally getting to share a space with you that just might be a new favorite of mine. If you have been around a while, then you know this space between my living room and entryway used to have a handing window as a room divider. After we had that flood a few months ago, I decided this space needed to reflect my changing style. My goal was to make it more modern while mixing in some texture and moody tones. Today, I am sharing how I used a piece of wall decor that I found from HomeGoods as a fun hanging room divider. I hope you love how this updated space turned out as much as I do!
Here is my new hanging room divider!! What do you think? Since you can see this space from both sides, I knew whatever was going to go up there needed to be the same on the front and back. I found this round rattan wall decor piece at HomeGoods and knew it was the perfect solution as soon as I spotted it. I used the same technique as my hanging window in case you are interested in how I hung it.
This piece added the perfect amount of texture and really just added some fun and interest to my entryway and living room. The next change that I wanted to give this space was a new entryway table. I searched high and low for an entryway table that would be long enough without spending and arm and leg on it. I found that long entryway tables passed 55âł are pretty expensive. My solution was to get two entryway tables and push them together to look like one long table.
I found these gorgeous black lamps at Kirklands and knew that had to go on the table. The rough concrete texture and dark color really made them pop. They also were perfect for the modern look I was going for. Love these lamps so much!!
After I had the table all styled, I noticed it looked pretty bare underneath the table. I found some window pane cubed ottomans on Facebook Marketplace to add under the tables. This was the perfect piece to finish off this puzzle. I couldnât be happier with how much the ottomans added to the table.
This new entryway space just makes me so happy. It reflects my new style while adding so much character to this little area behind my sofa. If you have an open and empty space between two rooms, remember that you can get creative and hang a room divider from the ceiling too. I hope this helped you get some fun ideas and enjoyed seeing how I put this space together! Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!
