Happy Tuesday!! I donât know about you but the weather here in Nashville finally feels like spring, and Iâm so thankful for that. Springtime honestly just makes me want to get outside and do some of my favorite activities. Garage sales, barn sales, and antique shows are so good this time of year. You can pretty much find me at one of these every weekend in the spring. I get asked all the time where the majority of my home decor comes from, and it is safe to say that about 85% of my home decor was found on a weekend pickin trip. I have so many favorite items that I have found over the years, but one that I have gotten a ton of use out of is a long chippy shutter that I picked up at a barn sale. I honestly had no ideas what I was going to do with it when I bought it. You know how that is LOL! I rarely know where something is going until I get it home and play around. This shutter was no exception. I instantly loved how much character it added to my decor. Old shutters are usually super cheap and can be used for so many things. Let me share with you 3 fun ways I have used it in my home!
1. In a Gallery Wall

2. As a Table Runner
3. Make a Table With It
Yes guys, I have old crates just laying aroundâŠ.hahaha!!
I added them to the bottom, and this DIY console table was the result.
Well friends, I hope you guys liked my ideas for this shutter. I would love to hear what you have done with your shutter. Feel free to let me know and tell me which idea you liked best. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!
