How to Decorate an Entryway
We made it to Friday guys!!! Today, Iâm so excited to share something that I think is so important in your home. What is it you ask? The answer is ENTRYWAYS!! Today Iâm sharing 5 different ways I have decorated and styled an entryway in my own home and a few clientâs homes and Iâll show you how to decorate an entryway. Entryways are very important because that is the first impression of your home. You want a welcoming entry that represents you and your style. I believe it should also be a well put together space that is organized and simple. So, let me show you a few ideas that I love!!
1. Print + Greens
The first entryway space is my current entryway decor. I found this huge schoolhouse chalkboard at an antique show and knew it would be an amazing backdrop in this space. Since I love layering my wall decor, I put this botanical print in the center. Botanical prints are something that match the style of my home. Whatever style you might have, I believe a print is a fun and welcoming statement for an entryway. I also paired it with my favorite stems and a few other pieces that I love. Greenery is always a good option for an entryway space no matter how you choose to use it.
2. Church Pew + Gallery Wall
This next entryway was done for a client of mine and it has all the farmhouse feels. This home was beautiful and bonus, it was an actual farmhouse. We took the farmhouse style and ran with it. We had a huge wall to work with, so when we found this gorgeous (and very large) church pew at a flea market, we knew it had to go there. Adding a bench or church pew to an entryway is the perfect alternative to a table and gives off a welcoming feel. Above it, I added a gallery wall mixed with wood tones, layered pieces, and greenery. A gallery wall is a fun way to fill a large space like this one.
3. Console Table + Layered Wreath
I am so in love with this simple farmhouse entryway that I did for another client of mine. If you are going to choose a console table for your entryway, I would highly recommend this one. I LOVE this table! It is so versatile and could literally go with almost every style. I paired it with this farmhouse style gate and wreath. You can almost never go wrong with adding a wreath to your entry. It adds warmth and texture and can easily be changed out for different seasons and holidays.
4. Shiplap + Mirror
This entryway has EVERYTHING that I love. Shiplap + natural wood + galvanized metal is a combination that I fell in love with for this home and especially this entryway. This home was STUNNING and was another job that I did for a client. I went with more of a modern farmhouse look for this space. I mixed wood tones with metals to create texture and added this simple but gorgeous galvanized mirror above the table. A mirror looks in an entryway and is a great option paired with lamps and mixed greens.
5. Window + Vintage Crates
The last idea that I wanted to share with you is a space that is in my home. If you know my style, then you know that I love vintage decor. Almost everything here is a flea market find and paired together can be a great combination for an entryway. I hung an old chippy window in the center and made this DIY console table out of a few vintage finds. My favorite part is the crates because they allow me a few extra spots to display family photos, books, and decor. Donât be afraid to get creative and share what you love in your entryway. Everything here reflects my home and my style, and I believe your entryway should do the same!
So, those are my 5 of my favorite ideas for any entryway. 5 different looks that anyone can do. You can even mix and match these ideas too. Hopefully, this post gave you some insight on how to decorate an entryway. Remember to comment below any questions you might have and let me know which one reflects your style. I would love to know!!

Just set up my console tables in the living room using your ideas from picture #1-love the way they look. Also copying your three doors behind your sofa, only ours are going on the TV wall. Thanks so much for all the inspiration.
