Hi my friends! I donât know about you, but I am so excited itâs finally April! April, to me, means bringing fresh decor and brighter colors into my home. I just love pops of color in the spring to give my home a fresh and cheerful feeling. Typically I love decorating for spring, but honestly, I was really lacking inspiration this year â especially in my kitchen. I wasnât sure what direction I wanted to go in until I received this gorgeous lemon canvas from Kirklandâs new Terrain Collection. This print HAD to go in my kitchen! It was so gorgeous and full of inspiration. I just love the lush greens and bright yellows! It instantly brought a breath of fresh air and pops of spring color that my kitchen needed. It also inspired me to use more lemon decor in my kitchen.
Kitchen Lemon Decor
I added the print to my shelf above my sink, and honestly fell in love with this beautiful piece. Itâs just so cheerful and fit perfectly there! It also inspired me to add some green stems, white hydrangeas, and of course, LEMONS!! There is something about lemons that add a clean and fresh feeling. My kitchen instantly felt like spring!
I layered the print with a white basket. I just love how my white kitchen and neutral backdrop made this beautiful print really pop! The best part about this canvas lemon print is the quality. It comes in a sturdy dark walnut wood frame that could have gone in any room of my home. The canvas paint is raised and honestly looks like it is a unique and one of a kind piece. I am so impressed with this print!
This new collection from Kirklandâs is perfect for spring. I have had the privilege of seeing Terrain Lane in person and have already snagged some more pieces that Iâm going to add to my kitchenâs eating area. More from this collection and my full kitchen spring tour will be up on the blog soon, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, I would highly recommend getting over to Kirklandâs to check Terrain Lane out for yourself. I know you will love it as much as I do!
Well, I hope you enjoyed my new lemon print and my lemons decor in the kitchen for this spring mini tour. Iâm so excited how cheerful and bright my kitchen feels now! As always, I would love to hear what you think of all of the changes and feel free to ask any questions you might have. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog! I appreciate it so much!

Hey Carissa, where is the white and black metal bowl from that your lemons are in?? Thanks
Hi! I got the metal bowl from Hobby Lobby.
I love it all! Makes me want warmer weather now! Where did you find all the greenery in your pitchers? Thanks for sharing, I love your home đ
Hey Erika! I am glad you like all the changes in my kitchen! I found it at a store called Old Time Pottery. Thank you so much for you sweet comment! It seriously means so much to me!
Decorating with lemons is so nice, gives me a lovely antique vibe thatâs really unique!
Hey Diego! Thank you so much! I am loving them too! Thanks for stopping by the blog!
I have the lemon print in my kitchen too!! My sister is friends with the painter, Melissa Lyons! Her stuff is A-mazing! Sheâs on Instagram as Melissalyonsart. đ€
I love this print so much! Melissa is great! She is truly so talented!
Love all the ideas! Where did you buy the rug?
Hi Mary! Thanks so much! The rug is from Hobby Lobby.
Youâve got me running for my measuring tape! What an impact that intensifies and simplifies the decoration.Asking,â is there space above the window to make this effect possible (in case all other methods arenât enough)?â. Thanks for the reminder to not get too busy and edit. You did it justice.
The back splash for me is a problem you conquered too. It is not too much. What if a future owner does not like your choice, worries me. Iâm picky too. My solution is to frame my backsplash mosaic and resort to wall paper companion selections to coordinate the kitchen (rooms). A collection of Bennington marbles anchors the artistic faience tiles one of a kind personalization, not to be left behind.
Also, Iâm for the use of tiles on the kitchen floor even when wood runs throughout.
I really love your kitchen back splash. Could you tell me the name and manufacturer of the tiles? Thanks in advance.
Hi Tina! I am so happy you love my backsplash! Thank you!! Unfortunately, the tile was already in my home when we moved in so I am not sure where it came from. So sorry I couldnât help you out.
