Guess what? Today is my birthday, and getting older is kinda fun when you are doing what you love. This blog is my little happy place, so the fact that you choose to visit me on here is truly a blessing. I am super excited to share with you guys my neutral Christmas entryway and dining room decor. I shared with you my Christmas mantel a couple of weeks ago and told you how I am doing a neutral Christmas vibe this year with lots of greens mixed with wood tones and touches of gold. Iâm kinda loving the direction it is going in, and I canât wait to share with you these two spaces!
Christmas Dining Room Decor
The next room on this tour is my dining room. I carried the same look of my entry into this room. I wanted my centerpiece greenery all the way to the floor to give this room a little more elegant feel. So, I mixed pine leaves, eucalyptus, and pine cones to create the greenery. I also added more antique brass candlesticks to the table. The mix of different gold tones is so beautiful. I picked up this entire collection of candlesticks for $30, and I am loving how they are looking with my Christmas decor.
For the place settings, I just used a mix of ironstone plates and pine cones to create a simple look.
These guys are just so beautiful!
My dining room is tiny, so this view really is the entire thing. I love that this room is a collection of pieces that I found at flea markets and antique shows with exception of the chairs.
My little white house collection is getting bigger, and I love how they look in my antique hutch. I also added them to my Christmas kitchen this year.
Christmas Entryway Decor
So, first up on the tour today is a space that kinda came together this weekend. I visited the Nashville Vintage Market Days show and found this scroll sign that I love so much from a booth called Cottonwood Shanty. If you guys know anything about me, then you know I LOVE scroll signs. Alyssa seriously had the most beautiful Christmas scrolls, so I came home with this Christmas Tree Farm one and it was exactly what this space in my entryway needed. I already had my huge oversized schoolhouse chalkboard in here but wanted to add something to the middle of it. This scroll is exactly what this space needed.
I filled up my crock collection with a few small trees, and also added some brass candlesticks that I had picked up at the flea market last weekend. It really did all come together this week, but it might just be my favorite space in my entire house. I just love how it turned out!
So, I hope you guys like the simple touches that Iâm adding to my house this year. Simple and neutral is what my soul needed. I canât wait to share with you my Christmas tree and living room tour and a few really fun DIYs in the next couple of weeks, so keep checking in with me here. Thanks so much for stopping by! Leave me a comment and let me know you are here! I always love seeing who is visiting!

Is your garland real or artificial? Also tips for weaving it together?
carissa says
Hey Katie! The garland is artificial. I could have done a better job attaching it. Honestly, since it was just going to sit on the table, I just weaved in the eucalyptus into the pine garland. They also make lots of metal twine that helps keep it together too. Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Hi Carissa! I love your garland table runner. I am looking into making one of these for my wedding and I love how full yours looks, and I love all the Eucalyptus! Where did you purchase your greenery? Any suggestions are welcome! Huge fan of your blog and Instagram!

Hi Caitlin! So exciting!!! I am so happy you like my greenery. The pine underneath is something I have had forever so I am not sure where that came from. The eucalyptus came from a store called Old Time Pottery. I am not sure if they still have any but you could always check. Thank you so much for your sweet comment. That makes me so happy that you enjoy my blog! Have a blessed day!
