Anyone else love a good dupe?? Itâs a fun challenge for me to find products that I love from higher name brand stores like Serena & Lily, Pottery Barn, and Crate & Barrel and find that look for less. Well, that is exactly what I did when I wanted to give my fireplace screen an update. Before, I had this rustic DIY fireplace screen that I loved, but I was just ready for a different look. While the other one acted as a fireplace cover, I decided to search for one that I could use while my fireplace was burning. Iâm sure you know the rest. I found this gorgeous gold chevron screen from Crate & Barrel and loved everything about it except for the price tag. You can see the original screen HERE. Are you ready to see my dupe?? Love how my updated fireplace screen looks now and at a fraction of the Crate & Barrel price.
Crate & Barrel Fireplace Screen Dupe
This fireplace screen dupe is from Amazon and looks identical to the C&B option. The other cost $249 and the grand total of this dupe cost $79. Amazing, right!??
This dupe fireplace screen fit perfectly into my fireplace opening, so now we can have nice cozy fires and see it with the screen on or off. It comes with legs like the more expensive version, but I decided it really didnât need them. Overall, this Crate& Barrel look for less is almost identical, great quality, and so pretty and elegant. I would highly recommend this Crate& Barrel fireplace screen dupe!
Crate & Barrel Lamp Dupe
The other Crate & Barrel dupe that I am so excited about is this pretty rattan floor lamp that I lucked up and found at Target. I was wanting a light for this little corner in my living room and fell in love with this Crate & Barrel modern floor lamp. The problem was it cost $269 which isnât a terrible price for a floor lamp, but I knew I could do better.
After a bit of work, I found my dupe! This rattan wrapped floor lamp from Target was almost the perfect match but with a $120 price tag. Not a ton of savings but I was happy. The shade was similar but maybe a bit smaller. Other than that, it gave me the Crate & Barrel look but without the big price tag.
Another on of my favorite dupes/hacks happens to be on my fireplace as well. This brown mantel that you see is actually a shelf from Pottery Barn. I shared all the detail in this post. I guess itâs more of a mantel hack than dupe, but I think you will love this option and it will be less money than most mantels. If you find a pricey product that you canât stop thinking about, remember to get creative, shop around, and even DIY if you can. You can most of the time find any look for less!!
