Merry Christmas sweet friends! I canât believe today is Christmas Eve. We are just relaxing, wrapping, and enjoying this day at home. Before the Christmas holiday gets away from us, I wanted to share with you my 2020 neutral and gold Christmas home tour! This year, I wanted to keep my decor simple by sticking with natural greenery with gold touches. Because of the hard year itâs been for everyone, simple sounded fitting for my decor. I truly hope you can also appreciate it too. So, grab some hot cocoa and enjoy my neutral and gold Christmas home tour!
Entryway
Letâs start in my entryway. This beautiful wood table is new to this space, so I was so excited to add some festive touches to it this year. Instead of changing out the decor that was there, I simply added to it.
By adding some greenery to the top of the mirror, it added a beautiful touch, and I love how it looks draping down on each side. I finished off the look with some gold bells in the middle along with gold tapered candlesticks and a festive bowl of greens as table decor. You can see the full tour of this space in my neutral and gold Christmas entryway post.
Advent Calendar
One of my families favorite Christmas traditions is doing an advent calendar every year. There are so many ways to add this fun tradition to your home, but I go with small bags where I add treats, activities, and family games to them.
I also love to make my advent calendar a part of my Christmas decor. Last year, I decided to add it to my chippy old mantel that we have in our hallway and love how it looked so much that I decided to replicate it again this year. You can see more of this space along with a ton of advent calendar ideas HERE.
Living Room
Now, letâs get to my favorite room in the house. My living room is where we spend the most time, so I wanted to make sure this space felt cozy and Christmasy.
My mantel is always the place where I start because itâs the focal point of this room. A few months back, I found this beautiful gold mirror at HomeGoods and loved how it looked on my mantel. I added some of my favorite brass candlesticks to each side along with some DIY greenery. I love the mix of wood, greenery, and gold touches! You can see all the details on my greenery and mantel HERE.
I created this simple DIY table centerpiece out of greenery and trees from Target. You can find the full tutorial HERE.
This DIY shiplapped media cabinet that we built a few months ago was such a fun space to decorate this year. Of course, I kept it simple and added some little wood houses, greenery, and small trees to the shelves. I donât think I will every get tired of this new view!
Kitchen
My neutral and gold theme carried on into my kitchen. I made this DIY garland and layered eucalyptus and pine to create a beautiful layered garland.
Master Bedroom
The last room on my tour is my master bedroom. I made over this space a few months back and added this moody headboard to the room. Iâm so in love with how it tuned out so I knew it needed a Christmas touch. By adding a simple pine garland to the top, it looks simple but festive. You can see more details on this space HERE.
As you can see throughout my home, I added pinecones to every room. Pinecones are a natural, beautiful, and inexpensive touch that I always love adding to my Christmas decor.
So my friends, I hope you enjoyed my neutral and gold home tour! I know you have so much going on today, but I truly appreciate you stopping by! I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
